The humble and gentle Mathias Oyigeya was born on 5th may 1963 in the family of Oyigeya Egba of Efekwo-Otukpa, Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State. He is the 4th child among the family of nine (9) children Dr. Oyigeya started his educational career quite early in 1970 at the St. Agustine primary school, Otukpo for his first school leaving certificate (FSLC) in 1976, after which he proceeded to Mt. St. Gabriel’s secondary school, Makurdi where he obtained his General Certificate of Education (GCE) o’level in 1981. She is not only Northern Nigeria’s first female mechanical engineer but also the first female Managing Director, Benue State Water Board, and the first female Managing Director of the 12 River Basins in the country. Herman Iorwase Hembe hails from Mbakpor clan in Mbake council ward of Konshisha local government area area of Benue State. He is the second of six children in the family of the late Professor Godwin Nyor Hembe, who was a Political Science scholar at the Benue State University, Makurdi.He was born in Zaria, Kaduna State on June 22nd 1975. He attended Mount Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School Makurdi for his Senior School Certificate in 1992. He thereafter, proceeded to the Benue State University, Makurdi where he read Law. He graduated in 2001 and proceeded to the Nigeria Law School, Lagos where he obtained Barrister at Law (BL) Certificate in 2003. UBA TYOAPINE TITUS (born 25 September 1965) is Nigerian politician who is currently serving as speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly since August 2018.In 2019, Uba was re-elected speaker for the 9th Benue State House of Assembly. Uba is a native of Akehe, Ute, in Vandeikya Local Government Area of Benue State. His early education started at LGEA Primary School in Akehe but later transferred to Demonstration Primary School, Makurdi where he finished with a First School Leaving Certificate in 1979. Uba studied at Saint Michael’s Secondary School, Aliade, finishing in 1984 with a General Certificate Examination (GCE). In 1987, Uba proceeded to Federal Polytechnic, Idah in Kogi State where he earned National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in 1989.
